This role sits at the center of a fast-evolving AI and legal technology category, where storytelling directly shapes market perception and business growth. You will define and lead the content strategy that positions the organization as a trusted authority in legal AI. This is a hands-on leadership role combining editorial direction, writing, and team management, with direct ownership of content that supports brand, demand generation, and product marketing goals. You will oversee content across multiple formats including thought leadership, product storytelling, case studies, and executive communications. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Accountabilities:
- Own and define the end-to-end content strategy across blog, thought leadership, case studies, email, social, and sales enablement materials.
- Build and manage the editorial calendar aligned with product launches, campaign priorities, and demand generation objectives.
- Establish and evolve a strong editorial voice, ensuring consistency, authority, and clarity across all content formats.
- Lead and mentor a team of writers and contractors, providing clear direction, feedback, and performance standards.
- Produce, edit, and review high-quality content personally while guiding broader team output and quality control.
- Partner with product marketing, demand generation, and sales teams to create content that supports pipeline growth.
- Oversee content performance tracking, using data and insights to refine strategy and improve impact.
- Develop SEO, AEO, and GEO-informed content approaches to maximize discoverability across search and AI-driven platforms.
- Manage content workflows, distribution strategies, and repurposing efforts to maximize content value and reach.
- Leverage AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate production while maintaining editorial integrity and brand voice.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or copywriting roles within B2B SaaS or technology environments.
- Strong hands-on writing background with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality B2B content.
- Proven experience owning content strategy and managing editorial calendars in fast-paced organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing writers, editors, or content contributors with strong editorial standards.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and modern search behavior, including AEO and GEO concepts.
- Practical experience using AI content tools and integrating them effectively into content workflows.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure content performance and connect it to business outcomes.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product marketing, sales, and demand generation.
- Excellent communication skills with strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Strongly preferred: experience in legal tech, professional services, or executive ghostwriting, and familiarity with LinkedIn-driven B2B content strategies.
