Content Marketing & SEO Specialist

Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience 

Installed Building Products (IBP) is seeking an SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team! While hybrid candidates in Columbus, OH, are preferred, we are open to remote work for the right candidate. For candidates located outside of Ohio, this role will be fully remote.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Paid Media and Creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign alignment.
• Contribute to social media content planning and scheduling to support broader marketing initiatives.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase visibility, local rankings, and traffic across multiple business (Branches) websites.
• Create and optimize marketing content for SEO and AI, including landing pages, blog posts, and location-specific updates.
• Use AI-driven insights to recommend and implement SEO improvements (both content and technical).
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content audits to guide strategy.
• Track and report performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Manage Local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile and Yext updates.
• Stay up to date on SEO, AI, and digital marketing trends.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in SEO and digital content marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt to brand voice.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress or another CMS.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and schema markup (enough to communicate with developers, not to build websites).
• Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Rank Math, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting social media content is a plus.
