Role Overview:
As a Content Strategist at Vine Digital Studio, you’ll lead the planning, writing, and optimization of digital content across B2B client projects in the self-service retail industry (vending, micro markets, breakrooms, and more). From brand messaging and website copy to blog posts, landing pages, and email campaigns, you’ll work cross-functionally with our SEO, design, and account teams to craft content that drives measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Conduct content audits, audience research, and competitor analysis to inform individual client content strategy.
- Build content frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and editorial calendars aligned with SEO and brand goals.
- Create tone-of-voice documents and content guidelines as part of brand strategy.
- Support package-driven deliverables through structured content planning across Vine’s service tiers.
Content Writing & Development
- Write compelling, conversion-focused content for websites, landing pages, and marketing collateral.
- Develop long- and short-form content, including blog posts, service area pages, case studies, whitepapers, and sales collateral.
- Create branded messaging aligned with each client’s tone, voice, and positioning.
- Edit and proofread all written materials for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Write content for Vine deliverables such as email campaigns, brand kits, digital sales kits, and SEO-optimized landing pages.
Website Content Implementation
- Upload, format, and publish content within client websites, primarily using WordPress.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices during content entry (e.g., meta titles, descriptions, internal links, headers).
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure content aligns with UX, layout, and visual elements.
- Make updates or revisions to live content as needed, including blogs, landing pages, and CTAs.
Collaboration & Optimization
- Partner with SEO team to optimize content for organic search and keyword targeting.
- Work with developers and designers to ensure copy supports both UX and search visibility.
- Contribute to content performance reviews and provide insights for refinement or testing.
- Participate in occasional client meetings or strategy sessions to ensure alignment.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience writing and editing content at a marketing agency or company.
- Strong communicator and team player who is comfortable working in highly collaborative settings.
- Excellent time management skills and organization, with keen attention to detail.
- Confident creating strategy decks and pitching content ideas.
- Proficient in MS Office, Canva, Photoshop and Wordpress.
- Comfortable appearing on camera for internal or client asset needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
