We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Content Strategist to join our Social Video Services team - Is this your next opportunity?

The Content Strategist ensures the department deliverables are of the highest standard, and that we are simultaneously delivering and innovating on our creative output for top tier clients. This role works collaboratively across all departments at Little Dot Studios and is a key part of establishing and maintaining our creative identity as a company.

This role supports all creative content development across the SVS team, supporting platform managers and strategists to make content that outperforms the benchmark. They may support in the trend report, proposals, playbooks, competitive reports, etc. to take our content strategies to the next level. They will work on creating, optimizing, and distributing video content for YouTube and social video platforms across a range of verticals. They should expect to serve as mentors for platform managers that show interest in creative development and content strategy.

This is a temporary role. This assignment is currently anticipated to continue through December 31, 2026, however the length of assignment could change depending on business needs.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Ideating creative video concepts for globally known brands on social video platforms

  • Using a blend of platform data, current trends and creative instincts to inform channel strategy

  • Effectively communicating and/or pitching your ideas to internal teams and clients

  • Creating eye catching images, GIFs and social posts

  • Writing compelling on-brand copy for posts, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone

  • Using YouTube analytics to help inform strategic channel decisions

  • Lead concept delivery decks and approvals for releases, campaigns, and talent requests


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • 3+ years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience

  • Remote Experience

  • Team Management Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of YouTube and social video platforms and a clear awareness of the differences between them when it comes to effective native video content

  • An in-depth understanding of YouTube analytics and how they should inform platform-specific creative

  • Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere - After Effects is a bonus!

  • Experience producing social video (timecodes)

  • Highly creative, online native, and constantly up to date on social trends

  • Strong creative ideation and pitching skills, with experience building compelling decks for internal and client presentations

  • Great communication, both written and verbal

  • Excellent client management skills with demonstrable experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work

  • Team player with a hard-working flexible attitude, a good sense of humour and an interest in working in a dynamic start-up environment

  • Proficiency in other languages (bonus)

Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
