Responsibilities: 

  • Write and edit original, engaging content for email, promotional messaging, and other E-commerce marketing campaigns to drive customer action
  • Research, write, and edit digital content for SCHEELS.com, ensuring it is optimized for modern SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to perform in traditional and AI-powered search
  • Utilize SEO platforms and analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify content gaps, and uncover new opportunities for growth
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance research, streamline content creation, and ensure a high standard of quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with SEO Strategists, merchants, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and a cohesive content strategy across all channels
  • Uphold the SCHEELS brand voice, adapting its tone for various audiences while maintaining the highest standards of grammar, spelling, and accuracy
  • Must be flexible to work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, averaging 40 hours per week
  • Some customer service shifts will be required throughout the holiday season, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • Other duties that may be assigned by leadership

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing and implementing grammar principles.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
