Contract: Fixed‑term contract, 6 months, with potential to extend subject to programme growth.

Working Pattern: Open to part‑time or full‑time applicants. We welcome candidates who wish to combine this role with postgraduate study. 

Location: Remote/home‑working. The candidate will occasionally travel to Taunton for in‑person content creation days with the Curriculum Innovation Manager. Any travel necessary for the role will be reimbursed in full. 

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro‑rata for part‑time).

Content Writer – What You’ll Be Doing


As part of our Curriculum team, you’ll work closely with the Curriculum Innovation Manager to write clear, engaging, and academically grounded content for our Leadership & Management professional qualifications.


You’ll use our standardised templates to produce structured, high‑quality learning materials that reflect current leadership research, commercial relevance, and CMI‑aligned expectations. Your writing will translate complex theory into practical, accessible learning experiences that feel contemporary, credible, and commercially compelling.

You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, the quality team, and digital developers to ensure every module is accurate, engaging, and aligned with programme requirements. While apprenticeships may form part of future development, the primary focus of this role is the enhancement of our commercial Leadership & Management offer.


This role is ideal for someone currently progressing through, or aspiring to undertake, postgraduate study (MA/PhD) in Business, Leadership, Organisational Development, HRM, or a related field.

Ideal Candidates Will Showcase Some or All of the Following


  • Currently studying or aspiring to study at MA or PhD level in Business, Leadership, Organisational Development, HRM, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of leadership and management theory, with the ability to translate academic concepts into accessible, commercially relevant learning
  • Relevant qualification in Leadership & Management, ideally CMI‑accredited
  • Experience writing learning materials, academic content, or digital resources
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and engagingly for diverse professional audiences
  • Strong research skills and confidence using credible academic and industry sources
  • Comfortable working with structured templates and maintaining consistency across multiple pieces of content
  • Collaborative, open to feedback, and able to work iteratively
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Passionate about shaping high‑quality professional development programmes
