As Manager, Customer and Content Marketing, you'll help shape the voice of Learning Without Tears through development, execution, and implementation of a content marketing strategy. Focusing on the creation, distribution, and overall management of high-quality content, you will build advocacy among educators, create compelling stories and high-impact materials, and develop meaningful connections that fuels engagement and growth. You'll partner cross-functionally and use data to continuously sharpen strategy and maximize impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and oversee the content strategy and planning including setting content goals and objectives, defining content topics and formats, creating editorial calendars and workflows, and aligning content with the overall marketing and business strategy.
  • Drive execution that is equal parts strategic insight and editorial craft, owning the creation and refinement of high-impact copy that resonates with educators and supports brand growth.
  • Create and execute content campaigns that align with the marketing funnel and generate leads, conversions, and retention leveraging various content promotion techniques and tactics, such as influencer marketing, guest posting, paid advertising, etc.
  • Craft a compelling and coherent content vision that ensures high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for the target audience.
  • Measure and evaluate the performance and impact of the content marketing efforts, including defining and tracking the key metrics and indicators that reflect the content goals and objectives, such as traffic, engagement, leads, conversions, retention, etc.
  • Use the data and insights to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the content strategy and planning and make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders and departments, such as sales, product, customer service, etc., and ensure that the content is aligned with their goals and needs.
  • Source, develop, and share powerful customer stories, testimonials, case studies, and videos that drive engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Own and grow our customer advocacy program-identifying, cultivating and celebrating educator champions.
  • Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S.in marketing, communications, or related fields or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in customer marketing and content marketing within EdTech or K–12 education.
  • Content marketing knowledge and expertise, content creation and editing skills, AEO/GEO and analytics skills.
  • A strong storyteller who can develop compelling content across written, video, and audio formats.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Data-driven mindset, with a focus on using insights to optimize performance and improve impact.
  • Travel up to 10%, including outside traditional business hours.
  • Proficient with CRM tools, web-based presentation tools, and Microsoft Office applications
