The Director of Content and Brand Marketing has/is:
- 10+ years of experience across content marketing, brand strategy, and product marketing with at least 5 years in leadership
- Background working with small businesses in HR, SaaS, or professional services is a bonus.
- Companies with a content-led GTM motion — particularly firms known for inbound marketing, thought leadership, or SEO
- Strong understanding of content development and creative production workflows.
- Strategic Approach: Balances brand-building for the long term with near-term performance and growth objectives.
- Effectively communicates product value and marketing insights across diverse formats and channels.
- Leverages data to inform content strategy and measure brand impact.
- Proven leadership overseeing internal creative teams (writers, designers) and external partners (PR firms, digital agencies).
- Skilled in developing and evolving brand voice, tone, and visual identity through clear guidelines and impactful content.
- Deep knowledge of SEO, CMS platforms, and experience with creative/design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, AI-powered content tools).
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, player/coach mindset. Alignment with company-mission
