Location: Primarily remote, with 1-2 days per week at our downtown Austin, TX office.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and a global leader in anti-fraud training and certification. We are currently seeking a strategic and creative Content Manager to lead the development and execution of the ACFE’s annual content strategy.

The ACFE is looking for a senior-level anti-fraud professional with experience in and a passion for developing top-quality training and educational content for others in the anti-fraud profession. The ideal candidate has experience leading an anti-fraud team in a corporate, government, or consulting environment and has helped create and/or implement anti-fraud training programs.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Owns and leads the content development and maintenance function for all ACFE training and CPE offerings, including on-demand courses and instructor-led programs. 
  2. Develops and guides ACFE training content strategy by collaborating with team members, other departments, and external subject matter experts, as well as incorporating member feedback, to create a cohesive plan for topics, timing, and format, resulting in a comprehensive and high-quality library of training and CPE options.
  3. Manages full staff of the Educational Content Department, including hiring, training, resource allocation, learning and development, and performance measurement and management among team members.
  4. Serves in consulting role to support conference agenda and webinar planning processes, including participating in session selection committee and supporting speaker identification and selection.
  5. Provides support for content development and review for the CFE Exam Prep Course and related offerings.
  6. Represents ACFE in fraud-related presentations, interviews, videos, and articles for both ACFE and other groups.
  7. Ensures Educational Content team proactively monitors and learns about new developments, trends, best practices, regulations, or other information related to fraud for inclusion in ACFE training events and publications.
  8. Answers inquiries from members, the media, and the public regarding fraud-related topics and ACFE educational offerings.
  9. Develops, maintains, and promotes effective internal and external relationships and works collaboratively with other ACFE employees and members.
  10. Adheres to schedules and deadlines.
  11. Performs other duties as requested or required.

 

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of previous relevant experience in a fraud-related role (e.g., audit, compliance, investigation, forensic accounting). Degree in a fraud-related field required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
  2. Experience with creating and implementing training programs for anti-fraud professionals preferred.
  3. Professional certification or license in accounting, law, investigation, or other fraud-related field strongly preferred.
  4. CFE designation strongly preferred at hiring or afterward.
  5. Prior team management or project management experience required.
  6. Excellent research abilities and communication skills.
  7. Writing experience in an educational or professional publishing context preferred.
  8. Thorough understanding of grammar, style, and current English usage.
  9. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  10. Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, taking direction, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  11. Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
