Overview:

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Advisors, one of the largest asset managers in the world that provides services to the world’s governments, institutions, and financial advisors across the globe. With over four decades of experience and trillions of dollars in assets under management, we offer one of the broadest selections of services across asset classes, risk profiles, regions, and styles.

This role will be responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content related to sector and industry investing, as well as exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This includes managing the development of content using various platforms for collaboration, approvals, design, and publishing. The right candidate for the role will have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, be a self-starter, be curious, and possess financial services and asset management experience.

The Role

We are seeking a content strategist and writer to join our ETF and sector investing team. This role is not limited to writing only — it requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and operational execution. You will be responsible for developing and managing content that supports our sector ETF business, while navigating workflows and tools to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

What you will be responsible for

· Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals and the needs of retail and professional investors.

· Collaborate with global stakeholders across strategy, research, investment, marketing, sales, and digital teams.

· Create and manage a variety of content formats including articles, eBooks, infographics, videos, web copy, email, and social media.

· Oversee content workflows from concept through production, including layout/design, compliance/legal approvals, and publishing.

· Manage content through platforms such as AdTrax, Workfront, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

· Ensure content meets UX best practices, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with the digital team to regularly assess and report on the performance of sector ETF content.

What We Value

· Excellent writing and editorial skills with a strong grasp of voice, tone, and style.

· Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content — and to align the content to specific marketing and sales campaign goals.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Familiarity with AdTrax, Workfront, and AEM.

· Comfort with data and analysis; ability to tailor content to different audiences and use cases.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to work across time zones and teams.

· Results-oriented with a track record of delivering high-quality content on time.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Experience in financial services, particularly asset management and ETF products.

· Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial content, especially for registered products and FINRA requirements.

· Experience writing for different investor audiences, with a strong emphasis on retail investors.
