We help improve worldwide communication through accurate, localized translations, interpretation, and outsourcing services, and a wide variety of tailored language solutions for individuals, organizations, and businesses of all sizes. We are seeking a highly skilled Government Bid & SEO Content Writer to join our team. This role combines strategic bid writing for government contracts with creative, SEO-driven content creation to strengthen our online presence and win new business opportunities

The ideal candidate will excel at crafting compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals for government bids while also producing high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our digital platforms. As our Content Writer, you will create well-researched and value-driven content that strengthens our digital presence. You will be responsible for both blog articles and service page content (e.g., “translation services,” “legal interpreting,” etc.), ensuring that each piece ranks well in search engines while reflecting the expertise and authority of Day Translations.

Responsibilities:

Bid Writing & Proposal Management

  • Lead the creation of persuasive and compliant responses to RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, and other government solicitations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate, relevant information for bids.
  • Edit and proofread bid content for clarity, compliance, and impact.
  • Maintain organized records of all bid submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal, technical, and financial requirements.
  • Contribute to improving bid processes, templates, and content libraries.

SEO Content Writing & Digital Marketing

  • Research, write, and optimize long-form blog articles (2,000–3,500+ words) and service pages.
  • Apply EEAT principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) to all content.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies, including internal linking, keyword optimization, and structured headings (H2–H4).
  • Reference credible, high-authority external sources (research papers, case studies, industry reports, etc.).
  • Incorporate relevant visuals (screenshots, images, graphs) and format content for readability and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best content practices.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven SEO content writing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page SEO and internal linking strategies.
  • Ability to produce long-form, well-structured, research-backed content.
  • Familiarity with EEAT principles and their application in content writing.
  • Skilled at sourcing and linking to authoritative references.
  • Bonus: Knowledge or experience in the translation, localization, or interpreting industry.


Preferred:

  • Experience in the language services industry.
  • Familiarity with SurferSEO or similar SEO tools.
  • Understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with content marketing strategy, social media, and basic graphic or video editing.
