We’re looking for a Head of Content who can build and lead a world-class content function that strengthens our brand, shapes market perception, and drives meaningful business growth.
About the Role
This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic operator, exceptional storyteller, and modern content builder.
As Head of Content, you will define how Userpilot shows up in the market and how our ideas reach decision-makers across channels. You will own the content strategy end-to-end - from thought leadership and brand storytelling to demand generation, website strategy, customer proof, and organic growth.
This role is bigger than editorial execution. We’re looking for someone who can translate company priorities into a sharp, differentiated content vision; build systems and teams that scale; and make content a central lever for pipeline, influence, and category leadership.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape narrative at a company with real momentum, partner closely with senior leadership, and build a content engine that becomes a competitive advantage.
What you will lead:
- Define and own Userpilot’s content strategy across brand, organic, demand generation, website, lifecycle, customer marketing, and thought leadership
- Build a content function that increases market authority, supports revenue goals, and elevates how the company communicates its value
- Create clear editorial direction, strategic priorities, and scalable systems that enable consistent, high-quality execution
- Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing content team, setting an exceptional standard for quality, performance, and ambition
- Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to shape the company narrative and turn strategic priorities into compelling content programs
- Drive the development of high-impact content across key formats, including thought leadership, blogs, reports, webinars, case studies, newsletters, landing pages, and campaign assets
- Ensure content supports the full buyer journey - building awareness, creating demand, reinforcing differentiation, and driving conversion
- Oversee content optimization and refresh initiatives that unlock greater value from existing assets and improve business performance
- Bring a strong point of view on content distribution, amplification, and discoverability across both traditional and emerging channels
- Leverage AI and modern workflows to increase leverage, speed, and scale while preserving depth, originality, and editorial quality
- Establish the right measurement framework to connect content efforts to traffic, engagement, pipeline, influence, and revenue outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience leading content strategy and teams, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of building content programs that delivered measurable impact on brand, demand, pipeline, or revenue
- Experience leading with ownership and influence, not just managing production
- Strong ability to hire, develop, and scale high-performing content talent
- Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling ability, with experience writing for sophisticated B2B audiences
- Strong understanding of content strategy across brand, SEO, demand generation, distribution, and customer proof
- Ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Analytical fluency and comfort using data to guide prioritization and improve results
- Practical understanding of how AI can improve content systems, workflows, and leverage
- Nice to Have:
- Experience in product-led growth, product adoption, onboarding, analytics, or related SaaS categories
- Experience building thought leadership programs for founders or executives
- Background in conversion-focused content strategy, technical SEO, or multi-channel campaign execution
- Strong instincts for positioning, messaging, and category creation

Work Structure
- This is a hybrid position based in Austin, Texas, with 3 in-office days per week.
