JOB SUMMARY
:

This role will assist with the creation and publication of Technical Training digital content, including animated videos about mechanical and electrical components and how they work and interact with one another. They will be responsible for the research and creation of several training videos, created in a style that will help further knowledge for incoming Ride Technicians on the systems that they work with. The purpose of this role is to provide the intern with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a technical field and how to achieve training goals.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with Technical Trainers and Content Specialists on researching common components within Attractions.
  • Researches common failure points and how systems operate together.
  • Collaborating with Instructional Trainers to gain knowledge of working systems and how to best share their information.
  • Storyboarding, designing, animating and creating a technical training video based upon a pre-determined topic.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. 
  • A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferred majors include: Digital Media, Interactive Media, Design - with a Technical focus, or similar.

Please note the following:

  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
