Description
SHINE Technologies is seeking Senior Content Writer who will translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content that serves multiple audiences: oncologists and patients, investors and journalists, engineers and the general public. You'll report to our Communications Manager and help execute a multi-channel content strategy across our business units.
You'll work as part of a growing, dynamic in-house marketing and communications team, collaborating with agency partners to support our overall content strategy. This isn't a role for someone who wants to write the same blog post format every week. You'll shift between technical sell sheets, investor-focused newsletter content, social media posts, digital ads, and sales enablement materials—often on the same day.
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Personal Characteristics
As SHINE continues to scale and establish itself as the leader in commercial fusion, we need someone who is:
A collaborative team player: You work well cross-functionally with our Nuclear Medicine business unit, Phoenix Neutron Imaging, executive leadership, and external partners.
Accountable and ownership-driven: You're self-motivated, results-oriented, take absolute ownership of your work, and lead by example.
Persistent and resourceful: You reject setbacks and enthusiastically persevere through challenges. You're innovative at tackling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial with a sense of urgency: You possess the energy to react quickly and decisively. You're comfortable making decisions and being assertive when needed.
Authentic and direct: We value straightforward communication over corporate jargon. You say what needs to be said clearly and diplomatically, without being afraid to push back when necessary.
What We Value in Your Writing
Why This Matters
You'll be telling the story of a company that's actually commercializing fusion energy—not in 2050, but now. Your work will help patients access life-saving cancer treatments, educate the public about nuclear technology's real-world applications, and position SHINE as the fusion company that delivers products, not promises.
Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
SHINE values diversity in all its forms as a critical component of innovation, which is fundamental to our success. Every member of the SHINE community benefits from the talents and experiences of our peers, from the mutual respect we exercise, and from the responsibility we take for our actions.
SHINE Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
