We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Digital Content Manager for the NYU Grossman Medical School and NYU Grossman Long Island Medical School web properties (med.nyu.edu & medli.nyu.edu).
This position will have a significant impact on the delivery of content across NYU Langone Health's far-reaching and influential .EDU websites, with a focus on developing and implementing a content strategy that meets the needs of the sites various audiences. This role will also be responsible for the ideation, creation, and execution of content that leverages cutting-edge technology to increase website engagement and promote the NYU Langone brand.
Reporting to the Director, Digital Experience, this position will drive meaningful engagement on the .EDU websites through compelling storytelling that is guided by strategic insights and data.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 7-10 years of relevant experience in content strategy, website management, educational content development, or a closely related field
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
Previous experience and/or ability to function as an editorial lead
Passion for storytelling, content creation, and engaging web audiences
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated track record of effective stakeholder management
Ability to understand and learn from data-driven insights
Proficiency in leveraging tools and platforms to improve content creation, distribution, and performance tracking
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team of creative professionals
Experience working in content management systems (Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, etc)
Familiarity with best practices related to UX writing for websites and other digital tools and experiences
Familiarity with website accessibility guidelines and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Experience in content strategy, development, and management within the non-profit sector
Experience in the healthcare industry, focusing on medical writing and content creation
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $115,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
