While this is a primarily remote position, this person will be required to attend in-office meetings and events a few times per month in our Cedar Knolls, NJ office.
Objectives of this role:
As a Social Content Strategist, you will support the strategic vision and execution of social media strategies for pharmaceutical and health & wellness clients. This role requires both a creative and analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to social media innovation and best practices. You will work closely with senior leadership, media strategists, and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of social media efforts within the broader promotional ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support social listening initiatives by monitoring conversations, identify emerging trends, and understand audience sentiment within the healthcare and patient communities. Translate these insights to assist in developing data-driven content strategies that directly address audience needs, inform messaging, and optimize content to drive meaningful engagement and conversation.
Work closely with the account and MLR teams to ensure every piece of content, branded or unbranded, adheres to FDA and platform-specific guidelines, including checking for fair balance in branded content, ensuring proper disclosures, and flagging any potential platform considerations.
Support cross-functional collaboration with creative, production, brand, media, and digital strategy teams.
Assist with analysis of creative performance based on goals and KPIs, spend, organic performance, community growth for specific audiences (eg, healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, caregivers) and associated optimization recommendations, including sharing these insights with creative teams and recommending future content
Demonstrated ability to craft and execute effective social media strategies by leveraging social listening and audience research to understand patient and HCP perspectives, consumption habits, and barriers within the social landscape.
