Description
Responsible for the oversight of the College’s web project management system and will
actively evaluate the requests for web content to best serve our varying audiences-prospective and current students and families, donors, alumni, community, and faculty/staff.



Responsibilities
  • Support and advance the mission, core values and strategic priorities of the College through strategic web content
  • Complete and manage tasks for improving and updating the website as needed
  • Supports quality assurance, by conducting content audits to eliminate redundant, duplicate or out-of-date information and broken links
  • Write and edit clear marketing copy to ensure content is simple and usable to our audiences further promoting our brand
  • Develop and implement website accessibility and SEO strategies to enhance our search rankings
  • Manage content on the website by posting/updating blog posts, video content, social media, and other program communications to the appropriate place on the website.
  • Collaborates with departments and divisions on their web presence ensuring that we are meeting our campus partner’s goals.
  • Runs regular reports on the College’s SEO strategies and competitor analyses.
  • Works in collaboration with the Institutional Technology team on The Breezeway portal content as a consultant.



Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business and/or communication or working towards completing a degree in these fields.
  • Demonstrated success working with creative strategy and resources
  • Understanding of SEO strategies and how it ties into the overall site design
  • Ability to work collaboratively;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships fostering an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and trust;
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and move quickly to test and learn new strategies and tactics;
  • Strong research and analytical skills;
  • Work from home on a stable, relatively fast internet connection;
  • Work on desktop and mobile phone (to check sites from multiple devices)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Basic knowledge of Web Accessibility

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit good judgement in making decisions concurrent with College policy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Project management experience
  • WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time and occasionally walking and standing.
  • Climbing, walking, crouching, repetitive motions, and ability to communicate appropriately with students/colleagues.
  • Frequent hours outside the College work day.
