The Department of University Relations and Marketing is seeking to hire a Web Content Manager/Communication Specialist. The selected individual will upload and maintain multimedia content on the university’s website in conjunction with the Director of University Relations. Trains and assists trusted content management system (CMS) users with maintaining content at the departmental level. Promotes university programs and activities through all media platforms. Assists with writing and editing press releases, presentations, reports, photos, videos and other communications for release to media and/or public. Assists with maintaining the agency's media contacts. Conducts interviews, researches topics and gathers information for use in various communications. Helps with event coordination and is a resource for the team during press conferences, official visits, and other happenings.
