Content Director (Personal Brand Growth)
Serv is partnering with a high-performing entrepreneur and real estate advisor, Daniel Chun, in New York City to hire a Content Director to lead the growth of his rapidly scaling personal brand.
This is not a typical content role. This is an opportunity to build and scale a category-defining personal brand rooted in education, trust, and real business impact.
The brand is already gaining strong traction, with viral content and inbound leads, and is positioned for significant growth. The next hire will play a critical role in accelerating that trajectory.
This role is ideal for someone who has already built or significantly contributed to building a brand and is ready to take ownership of a full content engine.
The Role
As Content Director, you will own the end-to-end content strategy and execution for the founder’s personal brand. This is a highly hands-on role requiring both creative, strategic and technical ownership.
You will be responsible for developing content that not only grows an audience, but drives meaningful engagement, trust, and business outcomes.
You'll be behind the camera and editing. You can build a team around you over time, but you personally need to shoot and edit at a minimum-viable level. Editing skill is required because we need someone other than the founder who can identify, train, and manage A-player editors, quality judgment depends on hands-on craft.
Our production standard is higher than the typical real-estate-broker iPhone-in-the-mirror content. We can and will use iPhone-shot content where appropriate, but the bar is high, we're marketers of real estate, and quality differentiates us.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the end-to-end content strategy aligned to brand and growth objectives
- Lead brand development and ensure consistency across all content and channels
- Drive format ideation as a core creative function - Identify, test, and refine repeatable content formats (hooks, narrative structures, series concepts) that serve as the vehicle for Dan’s expertise
- Plan and manage content calendars, campaigns, and production timelines
- Script, film, and direct content across formats (short-form, long-form, social, etc.)
- Oversee editing and final production quality to ensure high-performing, on-brand output
- Package content effectively (titles, hooks, thumbnails, captions) to maximize engagement
- Publish and distribute content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Track performance and optimize content based on data, insights, and KPIs
- Monitor platform trends and adapt strategy to stay relevant and competitive
- Manage external contractors (editors, designers, videographers) to deliver against plan
- Leverage AI and content tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and output quality
Outcomes that Define Success
- A sustainable, long-term content engine that outputs a minimum of 30 videos per month.

Strong follower growth - Current baseline ~15K (gained ~13K in the last 45 days). Targets: 50K in 6 months, 100K in 12 months.

Documented, repeatable processes and formats - reel frameworks, carousel frameworks, story frameworks across top/middle/bottom of funnel; conversion content, trust content, storytelling content. Goal: 80% repeatable frameworks, 20% experimentation.

Location: New York, NY (On-site required / open to relocation)
Employment Type: Full-time, in-office 5 days/week, with flexibility
Salary: $100K–$125K+ based on experience
