Description

Burial Beer is seeking an ambitious and creative individual to join our Brand Department. This role will live and breathe the Burial story through a variety of tactics, including content creation, marketing, and design. The Content Manager will work in a dynamic role, ensuring that the public is aware of Burial, Eulogy, and VISUALS happenings, communicating with our fans via a variety of platforms.

The Job

The Content Manager will report to the Director of Brand and collaborate with the Brand, Retail, and Production departments. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, has experience in the food and beverage industry, and enjoys a flexible schedule with travel, offering availability on nights and weekends. They are a constant source of creativity and fresh ideas, never afraid to try something new or push the limits.


What You’ll Do

  • Photography and videography of all Burial brands, products, spaces, food, merchandise, and events for use on social media, website, and newsletter.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of social media, marketing, and branding trends, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments regularly.
  • Social media management, including but not limited to posting on Burial's established weekly schedule, responding to comments, dms, and interacting with other partner brands.
  • Oversee Burial’s Taproom Managers to ensure a consistent content creation schedule, ensuring quality of content meets Brand expectations.
  • Support Burial’s Art & Design Manager with the creation of event posters, signage, social media graphics, merchandise designs, product label needs, etc.
  • Participate in weekly Brand Team and Eulogy meetings.
  • Support Burial’s Programming Manager with Burial, VISUALS, and Private Events (will require some nights and weekends).
  • Social media curation and scheduling for Burial’s music venue, “Eulogy”.
Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or other coursework completed in photography, videography, and editing.
  • Experience and success working in advertising, marketing, or similar field.
  • Experience and success managing social media accounts for a food & beverage or retail brand. 
  • Food & beverage industry experience a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of video and photography editing required. History working with Canon DSLR or Mirrorless cameras preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously towards a team goal, and customer/client-oriented.
  • Organized with superior attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • High performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Possess a DIY production mentality.
  • Travel, weekend, and night work will be required.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent computer and desk work - prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, stand.

  • Compensation: Determined based on experience
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried/Exempt
  • Job Schedule: M-F, 9a - 5p
