About the Role
The Content Strategist is a creative and strategic storyteller responsible for developing and executing Eleanor Health’s content calendar. This role requires a versatile content creator who can craft compelling website copy, blog posts, member testimonials, video storyboards, and ad copy to support both brand awareness and member acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate has experience creating healthcare content for patient, provider, and health plan audiences, a strong writing portfolio, and a solid understanding of SEO principles to ensure content drives engagement and visibility.
What You'll Do
- Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and organizational priorities.
- Content Creation: Write engaging and high-quality content for multiple formats, including website copy, blog articles, social media posts, ad copy, video storyboards, e-books, and more.
- SEO Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to ensure content improves organic search performance and supports traffic growth.
- Storytelling: Partner with clinical teams and members to capture authentic stories that reflect Eleanor Health’s mission and impact.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the Paid Digital Marketing Manager to develop ad copy and content assets for digital campaigns.
- Brand Voice Consistency: Ensure all content reflects Eleanor Health’s brand voice and tone across all channels.
- Performance Analysis: Track content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and optimize future content based on insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, digital, and communications teams to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in content strategy and creation, preferably in healthcare or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a proven portfolio of healthcare-related content.
- Experience scripting videos and crafting compelling narratives across formats.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a growth-stage or mission-driven organization.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker) to measure content effectiveness.
Compensation & Benefits
The total target compensation range for this position is $80,000-93,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
