AutoCamp is looking for a Creative Content Director to join our brand marketing team reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. AutoCamp’s brand marketing team works closely with all teams in the company to ensure a consistent expression of our brand through creative direction, graphic design, photography and video production, merchandise design, brand partnerships, guest programming, and more.



This position will be AutoCamp’s in-house creative voice and direction. You will play a critical role in continuing to grow and evolve the visual identity of AutoCamp and future platforms. You will concept and create visual identity systems for campaigns, imagine new guest touch points to spark brand loyalty, lead art direction for photoshoots and innovate new ways to engage customers through compelling campaigns.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the brand marketing team to bring stories and concepts to life across all channels (email, web, social, digital) striving to elevate the customer experience 
  • Create original creative campaigns to align with AutoCamp’s marketing strategy, overseeing projects from conception to execution
  • Possess a deep and nuanced understanding of AutoCamp’s brand guidelines; where guidelines do not yet exist, assist in creating them
  • Assist with copywriting support across email, social and Digital Marketing campaigns 
  • Support the Sales team with concepting pop-up and trade show booth buildouts 
  • Organize centralized file and photo sharing platform 
  • Build and maintain a network of talented photographers and videographers 
  • Organize and direct architectural, lifestyle, food and beverage and retail photoshoots
  • Manage internal graphic designers and freelancers, ensuring their work is aligned creatively with the brief and brand



Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience working at a design-obsessed consumer brand, creative/branding agency, or as an independent designer, with previous experience as an Art Director
  • An expert in in Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop)
  • Strong typography, visual, and experience design sensibilities
  • High standard of creative and attention to detail on all delivery output
  • Comfort collaborating directly with a variety of internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills; Ability to present ideas and feedback clearly, thoughtfully, and confidently
  • Desire to be part of a talented group of individuals that works hard to build a truly great team, company, brand and experience
  • A growth mindset. You’re open and receptive to feedback, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of humor and desire to have fun on the job while getting stuff done
  • Able to work independently and follow projects through to completion
  • Able and willing to travel as needed for meetings, installs, and projects

Preferred:

  • Experience working with hospitality, travel, or outdoor brand
  • Photography and video editing experience
  • Illustration experience
  • Motion design experience

Bonus

  • Web design and basic U/X experience
  • Merchandise production experience



Educational Requirements & Preferences:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
Salary Description
$105,000 to $125,000 per year plus bonus
