About Signals
Signals is a Provo-based, fast-growing Utah tech company building AI Cloud Employees that help teams move faster. We’re expanding our marketing team and looking for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to lead our email strategy, execution, and optimization across the full customer lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who blends creative storytelling with analytical precision. You will own Signals’ email marketing program from top to bottom, from campaign strategy and segmentation to testing, reporting, and optimization, helping drive measurable growth, engagement, and retention.
What you’ll do
- Own the email marketing program by managing end-to-end campaign creation, testing, and optimization across multiple audience segments and lifecycle stages.
- Lead strategy and execution by developing automated nurture sequences, re-engagement programs, event invitations, and subscriber communications.
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements to increase engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Conduct lifecycle audits and build new nurture programs from scratch using data-driven insights and customer journey mapping.
- Manage UTM tagging, tracking, and analytics to ensure accurate attribution across campaigns and channels.
- Work closely with creative, product, and marketing operations teams to align email messaging with company initiatives and product launches.
- Oversee database hygiene, deliverability standards, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations.
- Explore personalization, AI-driven targeting, and predictive analytics to improve engagement and retention.
Who you are
- 5 or more years of professional experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.
- Proficient in one or more ESPs or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, ActiveCampaign, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting key metrics like open rates, CTR, conversions, retention, LTV, and revenue attribution.
- Knowledge of UTM tracking, attribution modeling, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute lifecycle programs from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of conversion psychology and customer engagement strategies.
- Skilled communicator with excellent writing and editing ability.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once.
- Experience collaborating with remote, cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about performance, storytelling, and continuous learning.
Your first 60 days (you’ll be trained, so come curious):
- Audit current email programs and identify early opportunities for improvement.
- Launch your first full campaign with measurable conversion goals.
- Implement new segmentation, tagging, or automation enhancements that improve performance.
- Present initial findings and recommendations to leadership.
