Position Summary:
The Email Marketing Specialist is a hybrid position responsible for leading the strategic development, execution, and ongoing optimization of email and CRM-driven marketing campaigns.
This role requires a high level of independent judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making to support the organization’s marketing and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and leads comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with product launches, sales goals, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Creates and implements targeted email campaign content designed to boost open rates, increase click-through engagement, and drive customer conversion and retention.
- Analyzes email campaign performance and provides strategic insights through regular reporting and quarterly business reviews to shape future marketing initiatives.
- Owns CRM marketing operations, including audience segmentation, data governance, and campaign automation, ensuring targeted and measurable outcomes.
- Ensures data integrity across platforms, maintaining clean, compliant, and actionable contact databases.
- Maintains marketing documentation in accordance with Company quality and compliance standards, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Coordinates cross-functional efforts to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and compliance across all digital channels.
- Supports customer experience initiatives, including survey design, execution, and analysis to inform strategic improvement.
- Contributes to internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to marketing systems and processes.
- Stays current on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, proactively recommending innovations to enhance performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM and marketing automation tools, such as Mailchimp, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong planning, time-management, and follow-through skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects, change priorities as needed, and meet deadlines while also being able to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline is required. If no degree, 3-5 years of related work experience in marketing and/or communications may be considered.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated success in campaign strategy, CRM management, and performance analysis is required.
- Experience in regulated industries or working within quality/compliance systems is a plus.
