This role is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in the Walnut Creek Office
The Manager, Digital Content is responsible for creating and executing digital content across all of our platforms, from our website to social media channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES
- Provide leadership and content direction across digital channels including SEO, social, community/influencer development, and web
- Develop and implement a content strategy that is aligned with AAA MWG’s brand and business objectives
- Develop and execute a short video and influencer strategy that delivers organic content to further consideration of our products
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver content for the various lines of business
- Create and manage high-quality, engaging content for all digital platforms include website and social media
- Oversee the content production process, including ideations, creation, review, and publishing
- Develop and maintain the content calendar ensuring timely schedules and production timelines
- Optimize content for relevance and brand voice. Maintain a strong understanding of SEO best practices and incorporate them into content creation and optimization
- Manage the content budget, including vendor relationships and freelancers
- Manage a team of hands-on digital marketing specialists, vendors, and external resources to help support digital content efforts
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- A passion for storytelling combined with an understanding of digital media
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and creativity
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct online marketing, digital design, website management, paid marketing, a in a fast-paced and fun environment.
- Ability and willingness to help the team execute work.
- Strong expertise in SEO and digital marketing.
- Technical expertise with SFMC, SEM Rush and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of either the retail marketing environment or AAA’s core products (AAA Insurance or AAA Membership).
- Passion for brand building, marketing, and communications, with proven ability to get the best results and creativity out of teams.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and product marketing.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years leading Digital Marketing or Brand/digital content creation.
