The Content Manager will own the development, execution, and production of our content strategy. This role blends leadership, collaboration, and hands-on writing. You will manage our content calendar and work closely with subject matter experts across the firm—but also write original content each week that supports our brand, drives engagement, and meets business goals. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, and passionate about creating meaningful, results-driven content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and publish original content weekly, including:
    • SEO-optimized blog posts (3-4 per week).
    • Email campaigns or newsletters (1–2 per month).
    • Social media copy and web/landing page content as needed.
  • Own and manage the content calendar, aligning content with marketing campaigns and business priorities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and thought leadership.
  • Interview subject matter experts and transform technical insights into accessible, compelling content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external freelancers to produce high-quality content.
  • Edit and proofread content for tone, grammar, SEO, and consistency.
  • Monitor content performance and optimize based on engagement metrics and SEO data.
  • Ensure all content reflects the firm’s brand voice, values, and messaging.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of content marketing or editorial experience, preferably in B2B or professional services.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of published content.
  • Experience managing a content calendar and for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience with AI Tools: Familiarity with AI-driven content creation tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, platforms (e.g., SEMRush, Ahrefs etc.) and content performance analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Craft, Hubspot or similar), email marketing tools, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Highly organized and initiative-taking with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience interviewing internal stakeholders and translating complex ideas into clear, engaging copy.

This position is full-time, hybrid position reporting to the Digital Marketing Director. While the role is based in the Firm’s Providence office, you will have the opportunity to split your time between in-office and remote work, in alignment with team needs and firm policy. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
