JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for curating content across traditional and digital media in accordance of the Bank’s brand.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports strategic goals and objectives to achieve the overall mission of NexTier Bank.
  • Supports expectations of Company Culture & Community in the best interest of Customers as a representative of the Bank.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials including advertisements, email campaigns, flyers, brochures, presentations, branch tv content, event collateral, etc.
  • Create engaging content for digital campaigns, and other owned media channels, using SEO, digital engagement strategies, and current digital trends.
  • Plan and schedule website updates and alerts, and distribute email campaigns.
  • Implement website content updates, layout enhancements and asset creation to keep the Bank’s website consistent, fresh, and informative.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to support brand storytelling, campaigns, and events.
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all design work.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content as needed for campaigns, events, and digital storytelling.
  • Manage and organize creative assets and digital libraries.
  • Maintains online review and testimonial strategy and monitors online ratings, and responds accordingly.
  • Works closely with the Compliance department to ensure work meets all regulatory guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Attend training classes, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills further

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  
  • Content Creation & Design – Proficiency in developing digital and print materials, including advertisements, emails, presentations, and event collateral. Skilled in photo and video editing with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Computer & Technical Skills – Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email campaign tools, and digital asset management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Including strong written and verbal communication skills to create compliant messaging across customer-facing channels.
  • Project & Time Management – Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Banking & Financial Awareness – General knowledge of financial products, services, and banking, including invoice processing.
  • Bank Secrecy Act – In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Graphic Design or similar field.
  • At least one-year work experience in graphic design or digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Design software preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Marketing Automation preferred.
