We are seeking a Senior AI Content Strategist, Enterprise and Innovation Products to join our Strategic Communications and Content Strategy team. Every day you’ll make a difference in the lives of others by leading content design and strategy through the full product lifecycle, from early ideation and requirements gathering through deployment, iteration and ongoing optimization. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that content is brand-aligned, meets technical requirements, is optimized for AI and supports students throughout their journey.

In addition, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping EdPlus’ AI content strategy. You’ll be responsible for building and testing AI-powered content tools, creating and refining prompt engineering frameworks, establishing governance processes for AI-generated content, and mentoring teams on the effective use of AI content tools. This position is both strategic and operational, balancing innovation with execution to ensure consistency, quality and impact.

Essential Duties:

  • Shape and guide the content strategy for enterprise-level, UX-driven digital experiences, including applications, student services and innovation platforms.

  • Drive the development and execution of content strategy for AI-powered products and tools, such as chatbots and personalized digital experiences.

  • Partner with product, design, engineering and research to create products, design new features and implement content strategies that guide students across critical moments in their journey, ensuring digital experiences are clear, accessible and supportive at every stage.

  • Create, test and refine new custom AI content tools and scalable frameworks that democratize content creation across teams.

  • Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks that guide consistent, brand-aligned and high-quality AI outputs across products and tools.

  • Serve as editorial lead for AI-generated content across multiple products, reviewing and refining outputs to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone, inclusivity and accessibility.

  • Establish and oversee AI content governance policies, workflows and standards to ensure quality, accessibility, inclusivity and brand alignment.

  • Build modular content systems and centralized libraries for high-use microcopy to build efficiency and consistency across products.

  • Train and mentor teams on content best practices and the effective use of AI content tools, building role-specific adoption and scaling content expertise across EdPlus.

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend emerging AI technologies, balancing innovation with scalability, governance and user experience.

  • Assume or coordinate additional duties or projects as assigned or directed.

NOTE: This is not a fully remote position. Must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, Arizona.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

  • Experience leading content strategy and content design for large-scale digital products or enterprise systems.

  • Proven ability to design journey-centric content strategies that improve user experience and align with business goals.

  • Experience structuring content for AI-powered interfaces or products such as chatbots, search assistants or other retrieval-based systems.

  • Experience supporting AI model training and optimization using structured content, instructional prompts and curated examples to improve content output quality over time.

  • Experience working with LLMs and building custom AI tools, including defining instructions, examples and knowledge sources.

  • Demonstrated understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and how to structure content to improve accuracy and relevance in AI-generated outputs.

  • Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers and researchers to deliver user-centered products and content strategies at scale.

  • Demonstrated strong understanding of content governance practices, including brand standards, accessibility, inclusivity and QA processes.

  • Experience designing modular content systems, libraries or reusable frameworks that ensure consistency and efficiency across products.

  • Experience with content performance measurement, A/B testing, UX research and using data to drive content optimization.

  • Evidence of strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to document complex systems, workflows and standards.

  • Experience collaborating on product deployment and optimization lifecycles, including requirements gathering, prototyping, shaping user flows, building content strategies, executing content design and QA.

  • Demonstrated passion for working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that values shared problem-solving and continuous learning.

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for higher education and mission-driven work that expands access, innovation and student success.

  • Evidence of comfort with ambiguity, experimentation and evolving responsibilities in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
