About the role

Nerdio is looking for a strategic, versatile Senior Content Strategist to lead the development and execution of our content marketing strategy. This role is critical to shaping how we engage IT decision-makers, cloud architects, and MSPs across every stage of the buyer journey—from awareness to advocacy. You’ll own the content roadmap, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and create assets that power integrated campaigns and customer education.

What you'll do

  • Lead Content Strategy: Own and drive Nerdio’s content strategy across personas, segments, and funnel stages—ensuring alignment with business goals, go-to-market priorities, and the customer journey. 
  • Map to the Buyer Journey: Create a content plan that addresses key pain points and informational needs at each stage of the customer lifecycle—ensuring content is both relevant and impactful. 
  • Content Development & Execution: Develop and manage a robust content calendar spanning blogs, white papers, customer stories, product guides, thought leadership, and more. Write and edit content as needed. 
  • Campaign Integration: Support demand generation, product marketing, customer advocacy, and partner marketing with strategic content that enhances ABM, paid media, email, and event initiatives. 
  • Performance & Optimization: Track content performance and engagement across channels. Use data and insights to optimize existing content and inform future topics and formats. 
  • Trendspotting & POV Development: Stay current on cloud, EUC, and IT infrastructure trends—bringing fresh ideas to position Nerdio as a thought leader and first-mover. 
  • Content Operations: Manage internal and external contributors, including freelancers and agencies, to scale content production without sacrificing quality or consistency. 

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles—preferably in B2B SaaS or IT. Cloud experience is required.  
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to translate technical topics into engaging, accessible content 
  • Proven success building content strategies aligned to persona needs and funnel stages 
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns with tailored content assets 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage a high-volume content calendar 
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AVD, Intune, or IT infrastructure buyers
