We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Web Content & SEO Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead the development, optimization, and performance of our digital content across web platforms. This role is critical in enhancing the user experience of company stakeholders, driving adoption of digital platforms, and improving search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, content strategy, and analytics, with a passion for creating high-quality, customer-centric content.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
- Create and manage content calendar and oversee the creation, editing, and publishing across web platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, WordPress).
- Work with CX team to develop audience segmentation strategies and personalize content based on user behavior and preferences.
- Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, bounce rate, etc.) to inform future strategy.
- Implement and manage content governance workflows including version control, approval processes, and compliance tracking.
SEO Optimization
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO audits to identify opportunities for growth.
- Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headers, internal linking, and content structure.
- Monitor and improve site performance, page speed, and mobile usability in collaboration with web developers.
- Stay current with SEO tools and trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Stay current with AI advancements in search engine algorithms and integrate best practices into SEO workflows.
- Conduct content audits to identify outdated or underperforming pages and execute pruning or historical optimization.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key SEO and content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve organic visibility and engagement.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other reporting tools.
- Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Experience using SEO and content performance dashboards using tools.
- Apply attribution modeling to understand SEO’s impact across the customer journey.
- Use historical data to forecast traffic growth and set performance benchmarks.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, compliance, and IT teams to ensure cohesive messaging and technical implementation.
- Coordinate with external vendors or agencies for SEO audits, content creation, or technical enhancements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SEO content strategy, digital marketing, or content management.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (preferably Sitecore), SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strong editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation, optimization, and trend analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working cross-functionally with data, design, and product teams.
Preferred skills:
- Experience working in a regulated industry (insurance or healthcare preferred).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and content governance.
- Understanding of customer journey and user intent.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and basic web development concepts is a plus.
