Job Overview

The Safe-Guard Marketing and Sales Enablement (MSE) team supports our clients and retail platform partners in educating and selling vehicle protection products both in-showroom and online for top automotive brands like Porsche, Volkswagen, and more. The MSE department crafts fully branded marketing and sales materials and develops new content to drive dealer engagement and increase consumer awareness and consideration for vehicle protection products.

As the Content Marketing Manager, you will be the central authority for all content initiatives across the MSE department, ensuring brand consistency, messaging clarity, and strategic alignment across all platforms and materials. You will oversee the content development lifecycle from ideation to publication, managing resources and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality content that resonates with dealers and consumers alike.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, the Content Marketing Manager leads the strategy and execution of content initiatives for Safe-Guard and our stakeholders, with a focus on maintaining quality standards, optimizing digital presence, and integrating AI technologies to enhance content effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary content authority for all MSE projects, providing expert review, feedback, and approval to ensure quality, brand consistency, and strategic alignment.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the comprehensive SGI content calendar, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables to support marketing objectives and business goals.
  • Lead the strategic allocation of content resources, working with contractor writers and editors to assign projects based on expertise, capacity, and project requirements to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date brand content style guides and product guides, conducting regular training sessions to ensure all team members understand and adhere to brand standards.
  • Spearhead the ongoing maintenance and strategic improvement of the SGI website, with particular focus on the Resources section, implementing SEO best practices and content optimization strategies to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools and technologies to enhance content creation, optimization, and distribution processes, balancing automation with human creativity to maintain authenticity and quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists to develop content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences across multiple channels.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to inform future content decisions and demonstrate ROI.
  • Guide the development and execution of content for high-priority marketing initiatives, ensuring messaging consistency and strategic alignment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content management, content marketing, or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in developing and executing content strategies.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry or with automotive brands preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing editorial calendars, content workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, content optimization techniques, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of AI applications in content creation and marketing, including generative AI tools and automation platforms.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing contractors or team members.
  • Ability to balance creative thinking with analytical, data-driven decision making.
  • Must have a positive working attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
